A little administrative message… I have moved the blog to http://www.startcodon.com/wordpress instead of http://www.startcodon.com
301 redirects are in place.
301s have been gone for a while now. Now there’s just a little notice on the root with links to this blog and my girlfriend’s blog.
The coming week after this week is exam week at MSU… so for the time being I don’t have too much “extra” time to participate hardcore in the Community Bonding Period. That being said, here’s a little to-do list of things I need to get done before May 23:
- Learn how to use Bitbucket and Mercurial… done.
- Check out the Python trunk… done.
- Examine how 2to3 implements fixers… done.
- Become very familiar with the changes in Py3k that I will need to write fixers for… done.
Ready to go!
I’ve been accepted into Google Summer of Code 2009 for the Python Software Foundation doing a project for 3to2!
I’m going to center this blog around my experience this year.
